Not sure what the cost of something like that would be. You have to put in reenforcement along the top and sides because of the weight transfer. Steel angle along the top edge, drainage, etc. Might be cheaper to buy a hoist. smile.gif

The biggest problem with a pit is forgetting it is there and falling into it.
