When i give my car lots of gas I hear a loud constant woosh sound it sounds like a leak or somthing to me. Allthough it dosent seem to loose much power. Is it normal to hear sounds like this? If there is a leak what would be the most likely culprit?

Do a search on rubber elbows. Should be able to find pictures where they are located. Those make hissing sound when go bad.

if it's a turbo and/or you have an airbox mod or cone filter, i can see that being normal....
I have a turbo car, no airbox mods except a K&N, and when I WOT, I hear whooshing, and I have NO vac leaks, except when my stupid boost gauge line pops off under 17psi of boost!
