Hey all
Just got 96 Volvo 850 and 98 S70... both cars won't be allowed to pass the smoke test as there are trouble codes posting when hooked up to the computer. I've been told by the mechanic that i need to drive it in a specific drive cycle for a computer relearn which should reset those particular codes.
Does anyone know what cycle is that and how to do it?

Well if the tech turned the car over to you to drive and there is no MIL on then you need to drive it. But may I suggest that you take the cars to the Volvo dealer for the emission test. They will be able to get them to go ready for ya' as long as the MIL(check engine) light is not on
