I ordered new hoses from IPD for my 96 850 Turbo and after replacing the lower hose I noticed that it was up against the transmission fill tube holding bracket. I am worried that the bracket will cut the hose. Is it suppose to touch it or is the hose just short between the two bends? I could buy a clamp that is like the kind on other parts of the engine that go around wiring harnesses and hoses and the ends of the clamp are mounted on a stud. I could also just put a piece of the old hose between the bracket and hose. I would post a picture of this but do not have time to find out how to do that.

Any help or idea would be appreciated

Thanks
