I'm trying to replace passenger-side headlight wiper motor and this pipe is in the way. Before I start breaking things, I'd like to consult the experts here for the proper way to remove that pipe.
Thanks a lot.

think that is the conduit for the ECU wiring harness. pretty sure you can't move that.

Best wagon ever if the damn airbox would stop vibrating and it didn't have a Ford Escort headliner.

So has anyone replaced passenger-side headlight wiper motor before? I followed Hayne's manual to loosen ECU but there's still not enough room.

You can go two ways, either losen the big black plasic frame that runs from side to side and holds up headlights, wiper motor and other front stuff and bend it forward a bit.
Or you can saw up a hole over the motor to get it out, just a piece.
The last thing is a real Hill-Billy solution but many Volvo mechanics do this.
