No George I was not kidding. I own an S60 with xenons. The pic you also used is from a european headlight not a DOT one.

Hmph, I definitely think my V70 XC has better lights than my 850.

Edit: Height may play a role here.

Since 2000 I have personaly purchased 4 phlips kits. Not a one has ever had a problem. As for temp, the higher the temp the more blue the light. 5k is white, 3k is going to be yellow, 6k is bluish. Personally I would not go any higher than 6k

S60 Xenons are no better performing than my E-Codes on my S70. Color is different though.

S60 Halogens are comparable to stock 70 series but the fogs on the S60 are actually usable now that I went Euro VADIS.

4300k is the way to go.

Unless you want an ebay special 12000k garnet orb super xenon gas discharge kit!

20,000K will probably be like a small set of black holes in the front of your car. Thats how they'll know you are there... they wont be able to see much in front of your car nor behind your car hehehehe monkey.gif

You want to get the same size bulb that you currently have, and since the S70 uses H7 headlight bulbs, you would want the H7 kit for proper fit into your current headlights.

850 owners have 9006 fitment, unless they have aftermarket headlights requiring otherwise.
