thought I'd try a regular post here. why so much more traffic in the older car forum here?
is there a volvospeed <= 1998 vs swedespeed >= 1999 bias going on, or is there more to it than that? just due to moderator bias or competitive pressures or user preferences?

VS is the best FWD volvo forum out there. Period. The only thing that SS has is the "R" forum, and which now that Johan left.. the information in there is trivial at best. It's not an age thing either, while VS has a young kid base (read: mom and dad hand me down cars) there are many "older", married, professional people here that simply like the atmosphere of volvospeed.
If you have a FWD volvo, and you're asking questions regarding; performance, detailing or audio on SS, you're wasting your time, because we can answer any question you have, relatively quickly, and we're nice about it.
also, the +99 MY forum is only 2 months old.
