Purchased full set of Koni yellow's. Very easy to deal with, quick shipping, packed well, would do buisness again.

Call and mention VolvoSpeed for possible "deals" on certain items. Koni's are shipped free but can not be discounted.

Well my experience seems to differ by a mile: They sold me a Koni FSD/Eibach kit for my 03 S80 - come to find out that the springs only fit 99-02. In addition, the FSDs were explained to me as struts and not cut-a-strut inserts. When I called them, and talked to Arthur, he was of NO help, and told me to send them back to Koni (I pay shipping) and then lose 20% as a result of the return - restocking fee my ass. When I told him about the conversation I had with the salesman when I ordered (who gave me all the bad information), he said that he knew nothing about that, and it was just too bad. Needless to say, I won't be shopping there again, and won't recommend them to anyone I care about. Not cool! tdown.gif

I have FSDs I bought from shox.com, went great, honored the group buy price. Am I missing something? the FSDs are struts. Did they say that they would fit your car?

The FSDs for the S80 are inserts and not full struts like they told me. Even the picture on the box shows fill struts... They would fit my car in a cut-a-strut fashion which I didn't want to do...

I had a similar issue.

Overall I would say my experience with SHOX.COM was decent. They had a good price and the stuff was shipped quickly. They did give me a discount on the shipping for mentioning volvospeed. I will say though it seems like they aren't 100% up to date on anything. The web page is different then what they say they have, or what they will quote you at, which doesn't instill a lot of confidence when ordering. Also it took them a while to find the parts for my 01 S60 LPT.

In addition they didn't tell me that the struts were cut-a-strut, I was originally under the impression they were full struts. It wasn't that big of a deal and it only took about 20 minutes longer per side to do the cut-a-strut part, but it was annoying and disappointing to pay $840 and get something that you weren't quite expecting. Overall though I'd say:

- fast shipping
- available to answer questions (although somewhat incompetent)
- decent price
