I ordered and paid for the cam timing tool on Friday morning Sept. 1st, and I see that they are off this week; hopefully I'll see it this week unsure.gif

I left for out of town on the morning of the 1st (left before you paid). Back @ night on the 10th. Your tool shipped out this morning the 11th. Can't turn it around any faster than that.

Right, but what about the others? They are still customers.

I agree. However cancer does not discriminate and it's a personal battle. I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone but sometimes I wish people could walk a mile in another person's shoes before getting all bent out of shape.

As far as the phone, I have been out of town from 9/1 until last night the 10th. Before leaving I left a voice message on the phone as well as an auto reply on the email stating this fact so that no one thought I was ignoring them.

If someone tried calling before 9/1 and didn't hear back I apologize as I have had numerous problems with the voice mail system (database corruption causing loss all of my unread messages twice now, etc).

If someone has a QBM related question, QBM's email is the best way to contact me (sales@quickbrickmotorsports.com). If I don't get back to you in a few hours or even a day, don't panic - there's a good reason why.

My health comes first, and I do the best I can. My wife helps a lot with answering emails and packing stuff, but she gets overwhelmed too.

I hope those of you out there reflect on your life and appreciate your health, your family, friends, etc.

My battle with cancer has nothing to do with customers or vendors or my family. It's a personal battle that affects me and me only. I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone but sometimes I wish people could walk a mile on another person's shoes before getting all bent out of shape.

Is a Volvo performance part so important that not getting a personal return phone call for a whole week going to kill them? How about trying email? Or how about waiting until the people return your communication because perhaps they are busy or have another legit reason why they didn't get back ASAP. I blame a lot of this on this 21st century MTV age of everyone being connected right now ASAP text message/chat/IM with their friends and if that doesn't work walkie-talkie them, so they can reach anyone anytime ASAP or I am going to get mad and rant.

As far as the phone, I have been out of town from 9/1 until last night the 10th. I left a voice message on the phone as well as an auto reply on the email stating this fact so that no one thought I was ignoring them. If someone called and expected me to be there and I wasn't because I was on vacation one last time because I start chemo hell again then I'm sorry that's just too bad I deserved a break that's for darn sure.

If someone tried calling before 9/1 and didn't hear back they should be aware that I am considering cancelling the phone because of the problems I have had with it (phone system crashed and I lost all of my messages twice now, I hate the VM menuing system, etc).

If someone has a QBM related question, QBM's email is the best way to contact me. Not Volvospeed PM, not my Yahoo personal email that I check once every 3 months, but sales@quickbrickmotorsports.com. If I don't get back to you in a few hours or even a day, don't panic - there's a good reason why.

I don't run QBM as my sole job. It's a hobby; a passion. I have 2 regular jobs and a family. My health comes first, period. Then my family. Then my main job which provides a roof over my family's head. Then pile being sick on top of that and people may stop and reflect on their own lives and appreciate what they have and maybe just maybe learn a little patience. I do the best I can. If someone is not willing to respect that then I certainly don't want or need their money.

Amen.

This is vendor review sectoin, not an order status or gripe section. Email Greg on his business email. If he doesn't reply, then you can't order. Face it and take your business somewhere else if you can't have some patience. It's like emailing George W. Bush and expecting him to reply to every email you send him within an hour. That's not how things work.

Again, let's keep this a vendor review, not an order status page/pending. If you own a product, go ahead and let us know about it.

On that note, I've had Greg's rear wagon bar on my car for a few weeks, and though I haven't noticed a bit of difference in the rear end, the bar is great quality, and fit PERFECTLY. Took me an entire 10 minutes to install. Just keep in mind that you will need to remove it for fuel pump access if you ever need the access.

I also have KW's on, so that may be a reason that I didn't feel too much of a difference.

Also, welcome back Greg.

Props to Greg on the endlinks group buy! I just got mine in the mail, I am so PSYCHED to get them on my car this weekend!

In comparison to stock endlinks, which are like a small kitty saying "eat me," QBM endlinks are like a large lion saying "i'll fucking eat you."

I was part of the group buy for the QBM endlinks (which was an awesome deal I couldn't pass up on). Had excellent communication; they arrived very quickly.
But on top of that: Since I'm a college student, I don't exactly have the time to work on my car, except holidays. So between the time I got my end links and now, I was an idiot and I lost a part (tapered spacer). I contacted QBM and a day later they shipped me a replacement piece, for free. Just to re-emphasize, this was my fault, and not Slater's.

Unparalleled, excellent customer support. *thumbs up*

What is a shame is that QBM is apparently clueless on the subject of customer service. I have been inquiring for weeks about a ball joint gone bad in their control arms. Zero response to the multiple emails I sent.

Previously, they failed to respond to a sales inquiry, so I purchased OEM motor mounts instead.

Ain't no way to build a business, pissing off the existing customers. Caveat Emptor.

Look junior, anybody in business is obligated to follow the rules of business. You think any judge is going to have any sympathy if I take this to small claims court? If QBM won't back their products, are you going to keep it a secret?

The bottom line is that I have been ripped off for the price of my control arms. If QBM wants to give me a refund, I will go away. Or, how bout you send me a set yourself if you are so dammed concerned.

I have to buy new control arms. That is plenty reason for my annoyance. Your choice of language merely demonstrates your stupidity and immaturity. Ya little twerp.

Well, here's to you getting some cancer and a summons then!

Just for the record, you're not being an annoyance to him, since he's not even going to read this thread. All you're doing is making yourself look like a piece of shit. laugh.gif

Just wanted to do a status check... Any word on how Greg's doing? I've never met the man, nor done business with him, but after reading this thread in lieu of purchasing product from QBM, I genuinely feel compelled to see how he's doing.

I left.

Then I sold my car. Then I got a new car, because S80s are cool. Right?
Then I came back.

... Circle of life, or whatever.

Do not have anything to do with this vendor!!!!! Ordered the projector headlamps for my S70 on 7/8, $390 payment made via Paypal. Two weeks later I have received nothing but 'promises', Greg Steiritz keeps telling me that the order has 'shipped' but refuses to provide any tracking info. BUYER beware with this vendor!!!!

Has anyone heard from Slater? I haven't purchased anything from QBM but am interested more in hearing how Slater is doing? Has anyone had any contact with him? I wish he and his family the best...
