I picked a pretty circuitous route and arguably cheated slightly, but I'm going to get there

Free lunch would be if you didn't have to buy the sway bar and they gave you replacement parts for free
Their customer service is 2nd to none...

2 years and 40K miles ago I bought a set of IPD plug wires. Recently I started having minor spark issues, at least that was my best guess drawn from supporting evidence.
The wires were exchanged, even after all that time......I'm extremely grateful.
Sure enough, wire 5 was completely toasted.

They told me I am not at the top of the pile.
Why do I have to pay for their problem?

However, for the several weeks prior I was nothing but professional. I respect IpD and agree their customer service has always been top-notch, but in this case they were less than honest. I enjoy having a great deal of IpD parts on my car and up until now, I've had a great experience with them. They're a bit pricey, but always worth it. But this softloader issue has me baffled. IpD advertises the short ram intake and a 3" exhaust as pre-requisites for their tuning. I made those modifications and saved up for the softloader. I replaced the 13g turbo with a 16t in anticipation of the added boost. A representative from IpD told me that was a very common upgrade.
Now, after not hearing from them since March 25th, and placing several calls, I get an email from Ken that the guy who writes the tunes is in Thailand, I'm not at the top of the pile, I'm asking for a custom tune... That is not what I expected for almost a thousand dollars. And their answer, instead of ok, we're sorry. let's work together to fix it, was we'll be happy to process your return.
I have been an angry douche for the last few days, true. But on the other hand, I have been extremely patient for weeks before getting upset with them.
Given their advertising and what they charge, you would think a representative would return my phone call and try to resolve the issue as well as our relationship.

In short IPD is usually the more expensive choice but there parts and quality of parts is on the up and up and you will never regret it. plus the customer service is ridiculously good.
Thanks IPD
