I guess ther is such a thing as a free lunch!

I picked a pretty circuitous route and arguably cheated slightly, but I'm going to get there

Free lunch would be if you didn't have to buy the sway bar and they gave you replacement parts for free wink.gif

Their customer service is 2nd to none...

As usual: excellent service. Say what you want about some of the prices, few places give you such service. Also, $130 for replica 17' pegs is hard to beat... wink.gif

I bought some HD Endlinks from them and needed a replacement. I emailed them and didn't receive replies very quickly so I called them today and they said they'd send me a replacement free of charge. I am very happy with their customer service.

I had one of their windshield banners and one of the S ripped and one fell off in under two months. I emailed them and they are sending another. I am thrilled that they are standing behind their product!! I have never had any problems with them and am going to be a loyal customer for a long long time! :D

It's obvious of IPD's extremely cared for top notch customer service reputation but I wanted to add this anyway...

2 years and 40K miles ago I bought a set of IPD plug wires. Recently I started having minor spark issues, at least that was my best guess drawn from supporting evidence.

The wires were exchanged, even after all that time......I'm extremely grateful. :D

Sure enough, wire 5 was completely toasted.

Stopped in the IPD store a few days ago to get a stage1 tune for my yellow. The nice guy even took out my ECU, flashed it, installed it, AND waited to see if my car started before walking back inside. All completed in under 15m. Other products I ordered online, all came with instructions with pictures, great packing, and even stickers. A++++++++

Apparently, from reading this thread, IpD is very good about replacing decals. I would not trust my engine or my money with them ever again.

Why is that? Do you have an unresolved issue with Ipd that we can help out with?

You would think so, But I've called, emailed, spoken to four different "customer service representatives"... Now they are saying if i spend $30 to return their piece of wire the matter will be resolved. What I got from IpD after spending $914 dollars and hounding them with emails and phone calls is an excuse that the "tune" guy is in Thailand.

They told me I am not at the top of the pile.

Why do I have to pay for their problem?

IPD is better then the best at customer service......I'm guessing that you've been less then understanding or a real douche in your calls and emails.....just my 2 cents. <_<

I admit my last couple calls were not peasant. I would put them in the "real douche" category.

However, for the several weeks prior I was nothing but professional. I respect IpD and agree their customer service has always been top-notch, but in this case they were less than honest. I enjoy having a great deal of IpD parts on my car and up until now, I've had a great experience with them. They're a bit pricey, but always worth it. But this softloader issue has me baffled. IpD advertises the short ram intake and a 3" exhaust as pre-requisites for their tuning. I made those modifications and saved up for the softloader. I replaced the 13g turbo with a 16t in anticipation of the added boost. A representative from IpD told me that was a very common upgrade.

Now, after not hearing from them since March 25th, and placing several calls, I get an email from Ken that the guy who writes the tunes is in Thailand, I'm not at the top of the pile, I'm asking for a custom tune... That is not what I expected for almost a thousand dollars. And their answer, instead of ok, we're sorry. let's work together to fix it, was we'll be happy to process your return.

I have been an angry douche for the last few days, true. But on the other hand, I have been extremely patient for weeks before getting upset with them.

Given their advertising and what they charge, you would think a representative would return my phone call and try to resolve the issue as well as our relationship.

I have shopped at IPD since 2008. Recently I started looking for cheaper options because money has been a little short lately. I have to tell you that it was not a good idea, the parts I received were sub par by far. I ended up spending more money because the parts were sh-tty, and cheap. I ended up buying from IPD anyways and of course everything worked perfectly and was good quality. Sorry for cheating on you guys. I definitely payed for that choice.

In short IPD is usually the more expensive choice but there parts and quality of parts is on the up and up and you will never regret it. plus the customer service is ridiculously good.

Thanks IPD

I Had replaced o2 sensors, and some other electronics. I used another web site and ebay. I thought it saved me a lot of money. That was the recent account. The last time I cheated it was for a suspension part which failed after 2 months. Got the same part from IPD and it last going on 2 years.

overall i am very happy with IPD, they have great service, good products etc etc...the only issue i have ever had is very recently...on april 18th i ordered a set of sways and springs through the swedespeed GB to have in for carlisle, i was happy to get a discounted price and all seemed well. I was told that they were currently back ordered on springs but the shipment should arrive in 5-7days time and they gave me the option of shipping the sways now and springs separately since the sways were in. I told them hey its a week its not a big deal i'm gonna do it all at once anyways ill wait dont worry about it. So a few days pass and i keep checking their website to see if they list the springs as available as well as check my email for any sort of confirmation or contact. Then the springs go directly from stock should arrive in 1-2 days to stock should arrive in 30. Seeing this I call them and ask if they had not gotten their shipment or what happened to which i was told that they already received it and sent out all of those springs from that shipment and wouldn't receive more for close to a month. This bothered me very much because i was specifically told I would be part of that next shipment when it arrived in 5-7 days, and now i will not be getting them any time before carlisle which is quite a bummer, but hopefully they will do something to make it a little less of a pita and honestly I cant complain about any of their products ive used in the past so if these are up to the same level of quality that will make me a little happier. I guess we will see what happens.

called again today about my order, after waiting 20mins on hold they said they "try" not to mislead people and they do the best they can....well its been 5 weeks and the springs you told me would ship in a week are still not on there way, so i find that somewhat misleading. When i asked them if there was anything they could do (hoping they would knock some % off, or bump up my shipping so it gets here sooner or even throw me a fucking t shirt) they said no sorry buddy and hung up. NICE! going down hill fast it seems
