I had the a/c cut out while driving, after accelerating, the a/c kicked back in eventually and i got smoke from the vents, or mist? It was cool. I turned off the ac drove the rest of the way. When i got home i put the ac back on, and no mist or smoke.

What should i be looking at? The ac works fine.....

Nothing wrong A/C will do that now and then when the conditions are right, like opening the ice box and a cold mist comes out, but not always.

That same thing happened to my old Jetta. In my case I actually blew the heater core.
But then again you would surely notice your coolant leaking out at a fast rate if that was the case with you

Phew! That really freaked me out. Thanks Rich, its great to know that its not uncommon. Actually in retrospect, I had just turned the heat to max and then back to cool, sometimes that kicks the /ac back on, and thats likely my cause of the stuff.

Im off to go collect the stuff I need to flush the coolant. Thanks again to all who replied, I was really kinda freakin out, since I start a new job monday, and some weird issues was the last thing i needed!
