Yeah, I guessed right. I installed a secret switch. It's under the dash near the hood release lever. Maybe I'll take pics this weekend... or tonight... or tomorow...

I know a kid who put the switch for his 50 shot of Nitrous in that exact same spot, how weird.

Legend it might look nice, and more hidden if you mounted a black rocker switch like mesoams switch into the kick plating, or in the plastic where your switch is now, but facing out not down. That would be pretty stealthy.

You can't see it unless you get down there underneath the steering wheel and even then when I'm sitting there you REALLY can't see it at all.

It's wedged tight in there, switches with ease. Simple, took 15 mins to do and cost $3.00. Exactly how I had planned it. wink.gif

Why would you put your NOZ switch there? blink.gif

I kinda think it's a weird place for the antenna (or NOS for that case ohmy.gif ) switch, but if you're happy with it that all that matters. Me personally, I'm always putting my antenna up and down depending on whats on the radio or how bored I'm with the current CD.
I think that location would be nice for a sub switch. Kill the juice to the sub amp whenever it's not prudent to be announcing your presence.

I have no idea, why the nos was there, maybe because it was out of the way, less chance to accidently hit it

You don't really need to look down to hit it. Where it is if I reach out my arm in the general direction my fingers manage to find it with ease.

I've just put an antenna down switch in my 1995. I used the switch from an S90, it's black, and fits right in with all the other switches there. For lighting just tap into the lighting that the rest of the switches use. The part number for the switch is 9447386. I'll post a pic in a few.

I missed this thread for some reason, or I'd have posted earlier.

Here is a pic of the set up

I personally like the way Rich did his switch...although expensive I did the same when I had my volvo

You have to buy the 70 series aerial down switch and then just buy a black aerial down switch (850 style) and u end up spending around $50 but hey its perfect that way
