Really depends on the day. On a Tuesday at 20:00 about 30 minutes. Friday the same time can be 2 hours.

But when people select the "ad-free" view, they never see them right?

Only vendors and paying members have that option. Also 1000 impressions is 1000 impresions. I am going by impressions not page views. Your right though, page views would not reflect the true count very well
