Sorry this may be out of place but its the the only place i could post. is anyone else having problems staying logged onto VS? i'll log in then go to a subject and it will say error returned and ask for me to log in again, but when i put my username and password in it keeps giving me the same screen. i thought it might be my computer but its done it on every computer i tried. is there something wrong with my profile? this is really frusfrustrating. please help or offer suggestions, and feel free to put this where it belongs

Are you checking the remember my password box when logging in? Also check to see if you have something like norton blocking cookies.

I already tried that, and when it was downlaoding a n error popped up and said it could not download on my computer

Yes i check the remember my password box and no i don't have a cookie blocker. the error returned is that the link is disabled or out of date. when i get on im signed on but when i go to members announcements/ group buys it says please sign in. when i sign in it gives me that error message and im still looking at the signin page.

Something is blocking cookies for you, or acting as a firewall. I know Norton and Zonealarm do this. Maybe the memebrs can help but I have not worked on windows systems in years. What security apps do you have running and what browser?

Hey chuck, I dont know if its possible, but I think it would be a huge help to the chat if it showed how many people were currently in the chat room next to the link to live chat. Then people would see that there are already people in there and be much more apt to click on it.

What port does the chat applet use? I'm trying to connect but I think it doesn't use 80 as it just hangs and then times out.
