What is the silver switch just below the brake fluid resivor with a 2 wire connector. My abs/trax light sometimes comes on while car is stopping.. I find if move the wire around and re start the car the light goes out after the abs does its check at 25mph or so and may not come back on for several days.I checked and cleaned the connector contacts but still does it.That same short wire harness also goes to a connector the is sticking out of the fire wall just above the steering shaft that looks like it might be part of the abs wiring . Any ideas?

I believe you are referring to the pressure switch on the master cylinder for the ABS system.
Your ABS unit is in the early stages of failure.
The most common cause is a missing wheel speed signal due to a crack in the circuit board inside the ABS unit. Once a problem is detected, the ABS light turns ON for the remainder of the trip (until you turn off the engine) whether there is still a problem or not.
Once you turn off the car, the circuit will be restored (specially after the engine cools down), you start driving and there is no problem, the ABS unit will test the system at 12 MPH and if everything is OK, then the light turns OFF (if it was on) or it remains OFF (if it was OFF).
Short story (not), your unit will progresively deteriorate until the ABS light is mostly ON.

Thanks for the info.Is it a crack in the board itself or a crack in one of the solder joints.I have heard it is at the end where the wiring connector attaches to the board.
