I recently relocated the battery. I highly recommend this upgrade for FWD, makes a bit of difference in handling:

And redid the take so the filter sits more near the front by the open inlet:

You can see how the outside air goes directly to the filter:

Nothin special, no gains, but it might help a bit to get cooler air to the intake.

PEACE!

If that is clean, then your camera has to be really crappy. I mean it looks dirty as hell.

Take a look at the pics again cheif and think about it, the inlet port is tucked up in so it would have to rain up to get to it. It's been raining here for the past few weeks or so, I checked the filter and it's dry as a bone.

I've had that filter for over a year, cleaned it twice as good as it gets. It doesn't matter what it looks like, I know it's clean and that's it. It seems to me that ya'll are more interested in clean filters than anything that I did. I'll see if I can take some pics of my filter again so it looks all clean for you guys.

How significant is the difference in terms of handling? Also how about how the car feels in terms of idle or starting?

It is an ok setup, I would have gone with a filter that is inverted and not the rubber on the front. More air can get in.

You have more air flow then I did with my setup. This is why I went back to stock.

What i meant was, the filter setup you currently have is not effective as the STOCK setup in my opinion. But the battery relocation/install was clean as hell so props to you
