Yeah, I saw it earlier today and posted it but didn't what to post the link because people get touchy about that here

Isn't Johann's SD2 a former police car?

A lot more then you'd think of the 850's and 70's over in Europe tend to be ex-police cars, at least from what I have seen on other forums.

When I was looking for a Volvo, a customer at work offered me a the same Volvo T5 Police Intercepetor. He was a private dealer who only sells police vehicles on eBay. The ebay auction record is long gone, but the guy's seller ID is in-pursuit. The guy has a warehouse in Concord, CA.
Unfortuantly it was sold near the end of June this year. I didn't buy the Volvo, because it was a very stripped down/basic T5 model and I didn't really need turbo (it has no mods). This is one out of ten ever produced. This is california's only one for a experimental trial. The other ones ended up in different parts of the country and some were in Canada.
And no i'm not BS-ing about all of this.

Our last Volvo was a ex-RCMP vehicle. When we first saw it, it had 5 phones in it! The black on black 740turbo was used a under cover vehicle driving between Montreal & Toronto. Huge miles but man did they look after it! We dumped it when it had 705,000 kms on it! We called it sluggo....
