rain+dirt roads= unclean car for a few days

okay i had the 850 and GLT badges taken off last weekend and everyone that saw my car asked me why i took them off and said that i should have kept them on there. i personally think that it looks a lot cleaner/better without them. now asking fellow volvo guys, what are your opinions?
