ok, so my parents didn't like that my reverse lights were all red (they thought it was illegal and said I should change it). So i said I would smoke them. I used some "window tint" spray paint - the model kind - and painted away. here are the final results. I'll have to get some night shots to show how bright the reverse lights and such are.

I have to say I am really pleased with the results.

Your parents were right, red for reverse lights would be illegal. That is really dark. Did you upgrade the bulbs or something to compensate?

I like it, I probably wouldn't have tinted everything, but it looks like you did good work pizza.gif

and definitely remove the pinstripe next, it'll be a pain in the anus but you'll thank yourself after.

keep scrolling down till you hit "the beacon" back up bulb. Its way brighter then the normal lights, just dont keep them on too long, I have a set of these.

well, it is definately more bright than those euro style lights, so i bet it is. and those dark covers are darker than my lights, and I see people with those on them all the time.

I have a set of those also. Reverse lights are probably going to be his least concern though. Other lights on that page might help him out though. Sliverstar might make the bulbs he needs, but I don't know if they would be all that brighter.
