S60 2.5t Auto Performance Increase

Recommended Posts

Guest g. raymond buckland

I have a 2004 2.5T Auto. Car is driven, daily, so must be reliable and reasonably fuel efficient.

It's one of those cars that makes me like it, a lot, but man! If it had just 30-40 more hp, and the handling was a little 'tighter'! THEN,... I'd LOVE it!

Thinking of a Eurosport ECM upgrade, rear sway-bar, eibach springs, and maybe wheel spacers to give it a more aggressive stance (I don't LIKE wheel spacers, but they seem a reasonable alternative to new wheels and possibly, tires). The eibachs might require a shock upgrade, thought I'd wait and see.

Anyone have opinions/experience?

Thanx.

chip would be the #1 mod, alongside a new exhaust setup

after that, you'll have plenty o' power

warning, new suspension will void warranty =)

I have the same vehicle.

Where is a good source for chips/ECMs? If you could just point me to a website that'd be fine.... Google hasn't helped so far
