Looks Great!
I'm thinking about replacing all the OEM speakers with some better quality aftermarket?
Any ideas?
What type, brand did you use?

Actually I bought stock speakers cause my old ones were blown when i boguht the car.

With all the hype about kicks in the front floor, I think that would be a good choice first rather that replacing stock speakers with aftermarket ones. Also a that new HU makes the sound a LOT clearer.. now i jsut gotta buy that damned conenction to hook it up to the stock amp.

I actually recieved alpine type r 6x9s for christmas and hooked them up. They werent completely mounted but from what i heard, they sounded worse than the stock 6x9s in my old t-5. it coulda jsut been cause they werent nailed down though. The stock speakers really are great, just not a hella lotta base.

almost anything decent (Alpine, definitely) is better than stock the stock component speakers from my experiences.

Well, maybe It was cause they were mounted completely in, but the alpine ones I used (about $120) were not as loud or as much base as the stock ones in the t-5 I had.

if you installed and amplified them properly they would sound lightyears better than the stockers.

but if you aren't planning on entering any audio comps then stock speaks are fine smile.gif

edit: car looks very good, glad to see that you're taking good care of her
