All the Volvoers are gonna hate on the BMW, but it's a sick car. Don't the engines get killed though because they don't redline until 8000?

And paint the spokes on those rims black, I saw a dark blue one with the black spokes and it was so sweet looking. Put some Dinan parts on it too.....

Good choice!

Why didn't you go for the 19's.......not much more $$$ . In the past tire choices were limited in 19's , but I hear thats changing.

I had a 1st gen M3 10 years ago.

Great cars, but they get real costly after 100K on the odo . The VANOS 6 cylinder should be no exception .

With that said........the M3's will always be in my top 5 list.

Cheers!

6 speed! I was so used to the 5 speed in the C70, I drove home for 50+ miles before I remembered there an extra gear blink.gif !

That really is an awsome car. So is your C70, as I mentioned in your FS thread. But I would make the same choice you did, the M3 is a much better car. It may not have the straight line potential of the C70, but the handling and the general feel of the car make up for it.

mostly just cosmetic and suspension stuff...
19" CSL wheels
full coilover (still researching)
larger front anti-sway bar (understeers, but corrected with throttle...at RPM)

engine really can't be upgraded w/o serious $$$$
pulleys and intake is about it...
chip only adds about 9 HP (love the Volvo laugh.gif )

Very nice, and good color choice. 19's and coilovers will really polish it off. Sounds like you know what you want. smile.gif

I got the experience of driving one for 5 miles...an SMG, and the computer controlled downshifting is amazing int he way it works.

still, wish I got to drive the manual...what was your address again?

That M3 looks amazing. A tiny bit over done, but otherwise, wow. Anything with HRE rims like that is perfect
