yup, they're for like a Yakama Rack, i'm workin on some cosmetic crap for his car, we're gonna get the trim painted, so it'll look like a 06 V70R, and we're going to take those rack mounts off. and the pinstriping if i can talk him into that too.. possibly tint... who knows!

so the roof bars that your dads car has aren't factory rails? the ones on my car are. and how do you take them off?

ya, he has no 'factory rails' the PO put those yakima racks on, and now i have to deal with them. like carson said, they're riveted on. some people are farking dumbasses.

hey kev, sell me your wheels down the road for a player price. 
i like the way that car looks, but i don't know about having that dark of a tint. at least here in the bay area, the cops are as#holes. my wife already asked me to get the windows tinted before the summer starts. i guess i'll have to do that. i'll take a look at the rails tommorrow, and see if i can get them off. i'll keep you posted.
