I took these this evening around 6pm - it was pitch black except for the street lamp. I was moving my car out the way in the driveway and saw a great photo op moment. So here are the results of that? I played around a little with exposure and aperture.

Thanks for looking.

They look good! Now, whatever you are shooting, make sure there is light being cast onto it, not just background lighting (e.g. street light behind the car when shooting the front end without any light). The tailgate pictures look great, I like the dirty R AWD biggrin.gif

I believe that's glare from the street light, not water spots smile.gif

Yeah street lights are around 3000 kelvin as opposed to daylight which is around 5300k or something like that.

I liked the background being just lit. Adds a senes of dimension. However, I couldn't pull it off too easily - still experimenting.

I had the camera set to act in a 400ISO film setting. I think slowing that down will help with the grainy look and clarify the colours tremendously.

Thanks man.

I actually just broom it when it gets snowed on. If the snow is frozen I just pick at it with a shovel. It is the easiest driveway I've ever had to clean. The broom cleans it right to the brick - no ice build up usually or anything. My dad and I installed it a few summers ago. Water drains well too. Let me know if you want one installed! biggrin.gif
