I received the funds back through PayPal yesterday! $390.00 US.

I must say working with PayPal was a pleasure, very professional operation from start to finish. I would say to any member if you are going to make a larger purchase over the net go through PayPal to help protect for interests

Now on to the dirt, I know I know we have all been warned to stay far away from this outfit but they are the only ones who listed the ARP studs I needed. VMS

Anyways Terry tried to screw me over like everyone else, thank God I used PayPal. It was like what everyone else has stated.

It was not in stock, it was shipped, not sure what the shipping dept is doing, provided at tracking number then canceled it. Finally PayPal & I called his bluff and PayPal seized the funds for me.

PayPal is awesome in my books!

Need advise...I too was ripped off big time by Terry at VMS.I purchased a rebuilt motor from him(Feb 2009) for $4,000 and also had to send another $1,500 for core charge. Well as you all know by now, I got ripped. First of all it took over 3 month's to get the motor and to this day I never saw the $1,500 for the core charge even though I sent him the core asap. The motor started smoking after 6 month's and now I feel like I need to report this thief or sue him. All phone calls/e-mails are never returned and I have a trail of e-mails from this guy with promises of returning the core money.
However, I did file a complaint with the attorney general in Indiana to no avail. They said they got no response from him.
Somebody please advise.

Guy is a poking crook. I guess I just dont spend enough time here on VS because this is my first time seeing this thread or hearing any bad things about VMS but I absolutely believe it because he was the only one who had my oversized rod and main bearings listed "supposedly" he says they are in stock but somehow he finds a way to forget to ship my order 6 weeks in a row ad every time I pick up the phone I get some lame ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD excuse from him about how some family member died or hes dying its always someone dying. How much bad stuff can happen to one person I mean seriously, and now that I seen hes been playing that song and dance since at least 2006 now I know its b.s. My brother just moved to evansville indiana actually what a coincdince. I might just send him right to his shop to get my part and have him ship them and if Terry has a problem with doing that i'll know he doesnt have them in stock and hes f'ing a liar. Please nobody waste your money with this guy, it doesnt matter whats going on this is completely unexcuseable.

Got my $301.29 back through a paypal claim. no questions asked, like as soon as I made the claim they gave me my money back the next day, they must know what a crook he is. I even gave them a link to this thread. Paypal is the shiz

I wish I could get my $3200.00 back from him. But as its been a couple years now, there's no way paypal will refund my money.

I was gonna say the same.... if I had $3200 sitting somewhere for over a week with no info on it I would do everything in my power to get it back.
