How do you know who pinned it? dry.gif Also, pinning this thread allows new members the chance to be warned about who they give there money too. dry.gif

If that is the case then you would not have the right since you have not ever given one cent to VMS.

Have you???
You bought a downpipe that bought a downpipe that bought a dowpipe from somebody else and i am supposed to keep track of this kind of situation. I don't think so.
I sent you a downpipe with three o2 bungs even though we advertise only two o2 bungs so i don't think that this is fair of you as a moderator if you pinned this.
Talking about unproffesional. At least i admit that i have been having some difficulty with since i have made my move.

Regardless of who has purchased what, this is a board in which members are encouraged to voice their opinions on vendors. Vendors have been blacklisted in the past and it is something that we here on Volvospeed encourage in the case that a vendor is not complying with the contract.

Maybe so but when people sell something on this board or any board they should not make the purchace and think that the company should comply to what ever these people are doing. We have changed our policies for this reason. From now on if a person makes a purcase from VMS the product will be sent to that person and no one else. Not all of us live eat and breathe volvospeed.

Terry, let's not make this a case by case basis.

There is more than one member on here that has had a problem when he, himself, has made the order through your website... yet the product has not arrived in a timely basis. That is grounds for voicing an opinion, furthermore grounds for voicing an opinion on a site that several people frequent... many of which could one day purchase a product from your company.

It doesn't matter who I gave my money to for the down pipe. The fact is, YOU WERE PAID FULL PRICE for the down pipe that took you god knows how long to build. You were totally cool(i have ALL THE PMs, more then happy to post them up here.) with the deal until I recieved the pipe damaged and missing the number of o2 bungs THAT WE HAD DISCUSSED OVER THE PHONE. Then you hit the dick switch when I was upset over how you packaged(or lack there of any packing material period). You habitually lie to buy yourself more time and it's so obvious since it's the same story over and over. I hope your telling the truth about your brother and if your are my condolences to your family and if you're not, hope you have a large family...

I purchased a upper engine bushing from VMW a while back. It took forever to receive my order (no communication either despite my trying), and it fit in loosely rendering it completely useless. I ended up throwing it away because I didn't think the $20 bucks was worth the hassal of trying to deal with them again.

Just to give an abstract of my experience.

I'd say the most flamable thing there is your condescending attitude towards the members of this board. "Sheep"?

Well, just to update my situation ... Terry has agreed to credit my card for the rip kit and cancel my order.

I think it's better this way ... no harm, no foul.

Good to hear you got your order cancelled, Beachnut.

Customer service sounds as bad as Buschur Racing (DSM's now EVO's). Back in 98 or 99 after tons of research on club DSM my buddy and I decide to build up our DSM's using Buschur. We call them up, let them know what we are interested in and will roadtrip 6 hours to check out their place. So we drive out there the next day ready to spend thousands of dollars on bolt-ons: turboback, bigger turbo, you name it. Extremely excited we stand in the 'showroom' AND no one gives us the time of day. Then Dave Buschur himself comes in, doesn't say hello or anything, almost bumps into my friend and goes into the back never to be seen again. Mind you we drove up in a DSM and are well dressed and in our late 20's (at the time). We are dumbfounded. Finally after maybe 15 mintutes Tym, who must be at least mildly retarded, comes out. He is just then able to remember our conversation less than 24 hours ago and now doesn't think some of the stuff is in stock. We left.

Customer Service isn't that difficult. It's even biblical, 'do unto others as you'd have them do unto you' or something like that. After 2000 years it should be done to a science, guess that negates the evolution theory. smile.gif

they also have a right to prducts they have been charged for. This industry can be freaking brutal to you if you start making constant excuses at the expense of your customers. I learned long ago that the truth is the only real way to keep customers happy, even if it's bad news for them. Honesty is Key.
