Especially since Patrick was trying to show me up... Ironically, I was out taking pictures already before I even knew he was posting some, so it wasn't a payback type thing tongue.gif

I went over to West Seattle/Alki where our meet is going to be on Sunday to scope out the spots, make sure it's easy to get to for people, ect.

The Space Needle in the background with a close-up of my car on the boat launch.

The Port of Seattle is in the background, I'm still at the boat launch (parking lot) and there was a bush in the foreground that was blurred.

All of downtown Seattle in the background, very nice looking tup.gif

Wider shot of the above.

Seattle's two stadiums (Qwest Field and Safeco Field) along with more of the Port of Seattle docks.

A bit further down the road with the city skyline and a very beautiful sky.

Another shot of the Space Needle.

I'm in the "ghetto" tongue.gif

More train cars + a giant hill of rocks.

I love the stubby antenna laugh.gif It looks good, and works decently, so it's all good.

The city in the background is in focus with the sunset reflecting off the buildings.

The sunset reflecting off of my car looks pretty cool, and he building in the background looks close to the same color of my car (at first glance), so it's very nice how it all flows together. It also reminds me of that picture that Doug took with the airplane in the background (same lighting conditions).

Higher angle.

Wider angle.

Parked underneath the West Seattle Bridge with the Port of Seattle cranes in the background.

That concludes this broadcast presentation. Hope you enjoyed.

Again, high-res available apon request biggrin.gif

Nice pics I really like the sunset on the buildings one, the buildings look like they are floating on water.

Just one question. What kid on corner lights are those and where can I find them?

CARSON!!! You've got EST all over your car and you refered him to VPTuning!?

Great shots dude!! That camera is going to make some serious trouble around here i think!!

Dude this pic with that effect that is showcased when people look out of those privacy holes on doors would be AWESOME!?

The effect makes things further away from the central focus area look farther. do you know what i mean? I have a horrible photography vocabulary!

Its really amazing how a good camera and a good photographer can make a seemingly crappy looking sky into something truely awe inspireing.

YES! I got them to work... while at work. w00t!!! Yea man, those pictures make me want to dump the C70
and pick up a yellow T-5R. Not that I would actually do it, but it does at least make me think... 'what if...' great shots man, big ups.

I think the effect you are trying to describe is known as 'fish eye'.
