Greetings. I worked with a Volvo club member in the Netherlands to develop an upgrade turbo for 97- S40s and we got a good one I'd like to share with everyone. It's currently available at Volvospeed sponsor turbochargers.com's "specials' page. it's cheaper and better than the 19t upgrade.

It pulled 292hp on a mostly stock 2000 s40 in the netherlands, and similar numbers on a 2002 in Singapore, see the dyno graph!

happy tuning!

living in houston and having seen their work first hand, be -VERY- wary of turbochargers.com aka texas turbo.

they are notorious for selling chinese made knockoff turbos as upgrades. this is usually why they are so cheap.

i really dont want to bag your product, just warning friends about things i have seen with my own eyes (turbos sent to them for rebuild, sent back without balancing, using old internals, full out STEALING employees car parts after they were fired under questionable circumstances, etc) (and no, i wasnt the employee in question)
