explain that, 3 mufflers is way too much for a perfromance exhaust, I agree with Shaun about won't be any gains

Bullshit, pipe is fully open.

Should sound like this.

The Ferrita/Simons combo I used on my S60T5 is similar to the BSR setup,

So long as the muffler is hollow it shouldn't restrict flow.

That wasn't me but the performance was pretty much equal to an M3.

This S60 must have been one of the first 19T turbo converted ones in my country.
The car was a late 2000 S60T5 which originally came with a 16T turbo.

Basically the mods were intake, larger intake pipe between MAF and turbo, 19T turbo, Ferrita downpipe, Simons exhaust and Koni/Eibach suspension. Over the course of a year the car received something like 15 different software versions mainly for trials. The car made 339lb/302 HP at the wheels

A few cracked..

I was in an R driving the ring when it happened. Lucky for the driver the other people pointed him to the coolant loss. Few seconds later the light came on. Engine was stopped in time else there would have been a lot of damage.

The problem was that the silicone wasn't vulcanized through. There is a sort of mesh sock in the middle of the hose to give it it's strength and resistance to expansion. The material didn't blend with the mesh so basically it was one layer of silicone, one layer of mesh and one layer of silicone again.
When mounted to the car the hose clamps damaged the inside layer of silicone from what it appeared.
Coolant went in the rather small crack and the heat and pressure cause the layers to loosen. In the end the outside layer cracked over a length of 5-6 inches.

not when another was backing your statement .... plus it takes all the fun out of the net. sorry i'm just to much of an a hole to be nice about anything anymore

why on earth would you think that a performance company would sell a system w/ 3 restrictive mufflers? from looks alone you can tell they they are straight through mufflers
