That's weired, maybe they didn't have the one you ordered and gave you an OEM. Speaking of end links you got from fcp for $15 are crap, you will be due for new ones next year. Dust boots don't last on them. These are the ones you need http://www.eeuroparts.com/productdetail.as...lts=1&code=5777

does this mean you have a batch ready?
Works in progress - Conversion to turbo with a NA motor or 260hp no turbo. Say a prayer for me.
302mm brakes, IPD sway bars front and rear, QBM end links, MSD 6A ignition w/Blaster 2 coil pack, Jet Chip, Bilstein Shocks/Struts, R Springs. Hell I can't remember everything else.

I'd call Groton and have them ship you another correct Tie-Rod

I wonder how long these will last once dust gets inside?
They are better than OEM if you look for performance, I am not into performance and satisfied with OEM.

Hmm... Groton sent me two of the ones on the right....
I put them on last night and seemed to fit fine. What are the downsides of keeping them on?

the one on the right is identical to OEM and what i just took off the car. i am sort of thinking the left may be off an XC, but i haven't looked to see if they are different part numbers yet
Yes, if it came down to paying 40 a piece for end links, i would just wait for Slater's...it just makes sense. The OEM end links are a joke

Well, seeing how they are 100% sealed a long time.
They are not your run of the mill rod ends...

I would probably return one of them and get 2 of the same kind though.
