I realize that this is technically Volvo of Richardson but it's their internet parts store:

Service is very friendly and accomadating. Their prices on Genuine Volvo parts are as low as I've found for new stuff and they ship extremely promptly (overnight).

Again, a pleasure to deal with.
Good experiences thus far.

+1, and free ground shipping for purchases over $50 to boot.

Be sure to ask for the VS discount - around 5% I think.

Same, same, I just bot some body parts for a 97 965, they got here (PacNW) in 2 days. They were missing the clips that I was told to add in the comments section of the order but the price was right. $160 vs $240 for my local dealer. No brainer. I know there's gonna be more biz headed toward Richardson TX from here.

So far I have just contacted them about some 18x8" Pegs.

They responded very quickly.

And will give me the 5% discount which is great. However they won't ship rims for free, since there is a 10Lbs limit they say.

Oh, will most likely order from them.

Anybody knows what's going on with their site? It's been down for the past two days and I tried calling their 800 number a few times today and it's busy? I have an order of about $200 made recently and haven't got a shipment confirmation via email. Obviously I can't log in to there website. I get a page cannot be displayed. I even tried from my work computer still no go.

Wow these guys are awesome! I received a reply a day later and they told me one of the parts was not in stock although the website stated it was. I received a DHL tracking number for the in stock items and was told I was to receive a FedEx tracking number for the out of stock item(s) as soon as they came in. I received the FedEx shipment, overnight, the next day without even getting my tracking number as promised the next day! WOOT!

Their website was down and as a apology for the inconvenience, they emailed me this:

Greetings!
Please accept our apologies for recent interruptions in service. We are offering a Special Offer to our Customers in appreciation of your patience.

Technical Issues
We apologize for any problems caused by our recent technical difficulties. We made a server change and our domain registrar had technical difficulties changing to the new server. I highly recommend them. Quck reply to my email questions from their website and they provide real answers not just canned responses. Great customer service.

Just a heads-up: I have ordered a ton of parts over the years from them and I have always been very impressed with their service on the phone and their prices. Well, at least according to their website they have just raised their prices on parts dramatically. They no longer show you what the list price is relative to their price on the website.

It looks as if they are now charging straight list for parts. I have emailed them to inquire about this change and await their response. Will post with more information when I get it.

Edit: They emailed me back regarding my concern about the price increase. Apparently Volvo has increased prices on many parts by 10% and so Myswedishparts has done so accordingly to keep up.

Great folks to deal with as always...I only wish that the website still showed the List price vs. their price for comparison.

It is possible to check list prices on Park Place Volvo's internet store, www.volvoautopartsonline.com, which is really similar to this site. I found the prices to be about $10 lower on myswedishparts.com on average for what I looked at.

Anyway, I was comparison shopping between the two because I had used www.volvoautopartsonline.com twice for stupid parts like a radiator drain cock. The shipping took like 8 days because I chose ground and it's in Texas and I am on the east coast. That being said, I went with myswedishparts.com due to the lower price and cheaper shipping too! I ordered on Sunday, chose ground shipping, messed up my credit card number so it didn't ship until Tuesday, and I still got it in TWO DAYS!!! They shipped via DHL and it was at my door today! I was so pleased. Good customer service when I called to iron out my payment mistake. The only criticism I guess is that it didn't tell me right away that I messed up when I entered my credit card number. Oh well. Can't complain with ground shipping that takes two days!

Previously, we have placed orders with myswedishparts.com and had wonderful experiences.

In our first order from them, the rear window sun shade we ordered arrived broken and unusable. The company quickly shipped out a replacement with no problems what-so-ever. Good so far.

Over the years we have ordered other miscellaneous things from them, usually small orders, with no issues.

Most recently, we placed a larger order for a group of items and had no direct problems with the order. But, we did have a related problem of identity theft. Shortly after this order, we received a call from our credit card company informing us that someone was making unusual purchases in Texas (at the time, this was the only order we had on the credit card so the trail was not hard to follow)... We contacted the customer service department to let them know, but nothing was done and we have not ordered anything from them since.

So, fair warning-- make sure you check your credit history reports and watch your credit card statements when ordering from this company...

Wow! That's quite something if this is the case. They are not just a parts supply warehouse but an actual Volvo Dealership - Volvo of Richardson, so that's even worse if someone stole credit card information at a Volvo Dealer.
