my starter has gone bad and i got a new one to replace it along with a haynes manual to help me install it. the manual is horrible for such a job and i was wondering if anyone could help me out with the installation.

You need to remove the fan first for room to undo all the bolts/nuts and taking the starter out of there. No need to remove the plastic protection cover under the radiator because you access the starter from top not bottom.
