My 1998 S70 has developed a oil leak at one of the oil cooler lines. It looks as if it is comming from where the retainer clip is located oposed to the crimp site. Is there a failed O ring that could be replaced or is it time for a new line?

Probably an O ring, pry the clip off and see if it is bad or just replace for the hell of it, shouldnt run you more than a couple bucks. I replaced both my oil cooler lines about two years ago because I was leaking where it was crimped, that was not a fun job.

Why was the job so hard? And on the end that attached to the oil filter housing, is there an O-Ring that goes in there? I have two new lines I wanted to install this weekend but there are no o-rings on those ends. What do they look like? Anyone know the size so I can get locally tomorrow since dealer is closed?
