Long time reader, 1st post. I've got consecutive weeks of 2 days off and I want your suggestions on what to work on next. Stage 0 just about finished, I've got a few vaccum elbows left(the manifold one has been replaced), and I'm considering the Samco hoses(where to buy, however?).
No leaks on motor or tranny, Fresh Mobil one in each. Brakes have rebuilt front calipers, new rotors and pads. Ipd sways front and rear, Eibach springs, Bilstein HD's. New end links. Motor mount replaced last year.
I'm interested in checking the wastegate arm(what's the best way to get off the heatshield? I've searched with no luck) and I've recently read the ipd pdf file on adjusting the wastegate...does it work? any downside?
Long term reliability is a must. This is my daily driver...for years to come. So what is next?
Fuel pump?
Samco hoses?
Timing belt is comming due soon...do that?
and with the timing belt, replace the water pump and tensioners?
Anything you suggest?

if the pump isnt leaking leave it alone. throw a fresh fuel filter in there if you havent also a fuel pump relay while/if you replace the pump.
1996 Volvo 854 2.4L non-turbo 212,xxx miles Forsyth, Ga.
Works in progress - Conversion to turbo with a NA motor or 260hp no turbo. Say a prayer for me.
302mm brakes, IPD sway bars front and rear, QBM end links, MSD 6A ignition w/Blaster 2 coil pack, Jet Chip, Bilstein Shocks/Struts, R Springs. Hell I can't remember everything else.

If I were you I'd take it for a nice long drive and enjoy it. Your car sounds like it's in teriffic shape!
If you're really looking for something to do, maybe replace the coolant if it hasn't been done in a while. you could also flush the brake fliud but it sounds like that might be fine since you just did the brakes recently.
