I need help in figuring out what could be at fault in my front end ..The ride is getting worse and every bump feels like I am riding on the asphalt..I have changed the front struts to Boge/sachs, The front Seats, the front mounts, Sway bar links and the Control arms within the last year. There is no cushion when i hit a bump or cut in the road. It feels like as If I have too much air in my tire. I took the car to my mechanic and had him look at the front end and the struts. He saw nothing loose in the strut area and saw no rubber coming out of the strut area that seats might be damaged. The parts that I replaced did not look loose. I am think that the seats or the mounts are damaged that i have not cushion in the front end..

Can anyone suggest what else I can get looked at maybe from another mechanic..am i missing a part that needs to be looked at closely...could engine mounts cause this hard ride or maybe the rear struts..that have never been changed..

any hepl would be appreciated..

thanks

Do you have stock suspension? The suspension on my 859 is stiffer than I like, but not as you describe it.

If the struts were frozen stuck, maybe...

Pretty sure it ain't the motor mounts.

Do you have any spring left in your suspension. Can you push down on the front and the back and the body would lower few inches?

This is a long shot, but could your springs be flat and that you're close to bottoming out? If that was the case your car would probably look "slammed," as in lowered.

Yes I am still running stock suspension, I replaced with OE brand struts in front last year with BOGE/sachs

I don't think the car stays down when I push down on it..not sure if i looked at the springs closely..

what is the life of the springs on this cars...

I am betting on the struts mounts or the seats...but i need to confirm before I start buying replacement parts
