Having a problem installing the emergency brake cables on my '93 Sdn. It has the early style cables without the plastic piece that press fits into the backing plate. I can't disconnect the end of the cable at the wheel.
Am I suppose to remove the tapered piece of tubing from the rear of the backing plate? If I got it off, I think I'd be all set! Just don't know how it comes off.
Any help is appreciated!!
