I just ordered new rims and suspension for my deserving old car, I ordered 205/45r 17's for my rims, I almost ordered 215's.. should I have????? I do some back road driving, mostly highway...

If you are able to change the order, go ahead and get the 215s. If not don't worry about it, 205s are fine.

Ya thats what I was thinking, they will only last the summer if i'm lucky.. I baught my car with only the stock steel wheels. 17 inch rim should look nicer the the hubcap.... thnx for the info

Not sure about in the US, but in Australia and Europe, factory tyre size on Volans and titans is 205/45/17

same in the us. also, you can usually find a 205/45 with a 88 load rating, whereas the 215/45s you find are usually 87-- i know the eagle f1s are 88 but they are also summer tires.
