[VS Legend]

My XC threw a CEL and "Transmission Service Required" message this past weekend while I was all the way out in West Chester, over an hour and a half from both York and Bridgewater, where my usual dealers are.

I called to see if they could check the code and see if it is safe to drive and they were busy but still took me right away, checked it out almost imediately and were very curtious the whole time.

Everyone working at this dealership was very friendly, and to top it all off I got to see a new C70 before they were even in the showroom! The dealership is also VERY nice, and shouts "we do the job right" at you from the moment you walk in. You would have thought you were at a rare exotics dealer.

In summary, excellent and considerate and fast service, beautiful dealership with great people.

I'd HIGHLY recommend this dealership if you live in the area, and I've been to quite a few Volvo Dealerships.

I have quite the opposite experience from you it seems. I bought a used c70 from stillman back in septmber of 06. i bought it from rich lawlor, he was a real jerk. i came to look at it and he basically gave me the keys and said here go for a ride. he was very short with me the whole time, he automatically assumed that since i was only 20 that i didn't have credit so he asked for a co-signer. I didn't need one though, got the loan fine. I decided to get the tire warranty as well, I was just going to include that price in the finance but he had already submitted it. I told him I wanted to just include it in the finance and he said well I will have to re-do the whole thing.

The car I traded in was going to expire soon (registry) so they renewed and transfered my tags, it was checked off on the buyers order. But my new tag never came, it expired in november and nothing came. I had to go down there and argue with him because he claimed it was a mistake that it was checked off on the document but they didn't charge me for it. Well it was checked off and signed by the owner and Rich and Me. So they ended up paying for it.

On a good note though, the service department is great. Very attentive! They picked me up and dropped me off when I needed transportation to and from the dealership. Fair prices as well.

If you purchase a car from Stillman Volvo DO NOT buy it from Rich Lawlor!

since Greg works there i dont know if i can give a positive review lol just kidding. Although there's a dealership 10 minutes from my house I will drive the extra 10 minutes for stillman's services
