Can we all at least verify that nobody has seen it on their car before their perspective performance chips were installed? I know for a fact I didn't see it until then. At first, I thought it was tripping from misfires. That's why I replaced my ignition lineup. It fixed the misfires, but the O2 sensor kept tripping off...

2nd, I drove 150 miles to Philly yesterday and the light didn't come on once (and I made great gas mileage ~23mpg (UNHEARD OF in my car))...then I get it my car to drive home, and as I'm getting on the freeway, the stupid little CEL comes on...so WTF gives? Why is the light coming on now? After I drove 150 miles.
Let me reiterate the facts.
BRAND New OEM Bosch sensor with around 400-500 miles on it now
Replaced a spliced Bosch Universal Spliced O2 sensor because I thought it had gone bad
Both O2 sensors throw a slow-to-respond code (P0133)
I cleared the code via OBDII and disconnected the battery for more than 12 hours
So what else could it be? I mean, why would the rear O2 sensor be bad if its throwing a front code? What else should I try to replace? Wiring harness?

I agree 100% Andy! Samething happened too me. I was running a 96 850R Upsolute Chip for awhile in the yellow and then I switched over to a custom EST ecu that was chipped but I still get the light to come on every few weeks. It always comes on after I'm driving hard for awhile and come to a stop and starting idling. I was debating replacing my o2 sensors but considering that this is happening to people who put brand new sensors in...I don't know what to do.

Of course I'm kidding, if you had read it a little more carefully. I posed it as a suggestion that wasn't a true solution, since even attempting to clean it would monkey it up worse than the carbon build-up.

which vacuum line? All mine are silicon and pretty fresh...which one are you talking about? And you specifically got a Slow-To-Respond code?
I think I'm just going to put a piece of electric tape over hte light....tired of this BS

may be my english is way off, but I don't get it!
here is what a new guy wrote to me
When you are standing in front of the car, look at the left side of the intake just behind the power steering reservoir. Right on the upper forward most part of the left side there should be a 1/4 inch rubber elbow coming off and on a 90 degree elbow going back. Take a flashlight out there and see if its broken.

the OBD-2 software says: Fuel System 1 and 2 Status is System 1 closed loop but fault with at least one oxygen sensor - may be using single oxygen sensor for fuel control
This is immediate after coming out of OL (open loop)
No CEL yet but I have a feeling its going to come on as it always took one keystart to come back on, I'll keep everyone posted
