1996 855 turbo 175k
I have read the topics about suspension sag on the 855's at the driver-side front corner, which is a problem that I have. but this picture shows the rear right hand side sagging a bit as well, is this because of the front sag or do I need new springs, or struts? I am currently ordering Koni sports, and new strut mounts for the front, I was not planning on ordering springs, but does it look like I need to replace something in the back as well? Thanks for the help.

Konis all around would/should fix the problem or make it better.
i had the same problem with stock suspension, and my shocks/struts were bad. evened out a bit more after upgrading the suspension.

would it be a bad idea to run OEM in back and Konis up front?

backs are really easy to do. I would just do them all at the same time.

I think ill leave the back alone for right now. I should do it but I can do the front for $500 or so and that is a little more reasonable right now. $700 makes me sad. Thanks for the help.

Does it look the same after a ride?
Some self-leveling shocks pump up as soon as you take your brick for a ride.
If I measure around the wheels after my '96R has been sitting, it looks uneven. After a ride, even with a load, she looks good.

no ill effects at all.
do the front springs too though, so you don't have to take that apart again. it can be a pain taking the assemblies apart over and over.
as for the rears, leave it alone till you have the money...we all have budgets here, so work with what you can as long as it doesn't negatively affect anything.

Prasamin,
You boob! I was going to buy that suspension kit off you but then you went and sold it before I got paid.
Hey you gotta do what you gotta do. My biggest problem is that I am trying to fix this whole Darn thing for about $500 which I know is cheep but thats really all I got. Maybe I shouldn't bother with the Koni sports and just do OEM all around, then get new (OEM) springs. I should be able to keep that down to about $500. Any other ideas?
Current idea:
Koni Sport Struts 2 @ $159.00 = $318.00
Strut Bump Stop 2 @ $17.50 = $35.00
8mm Lock Nut 6 @ $1.25 = $7.50
Nut 4 @ $2.00 = $8.00
ATE Super Blue 1 @ $9.00 = $9.00 (not part of the suspension but needed anyway)
Sway Bar Links 2 Kit order
Shock Mounts 2 Kit order
Spring Seats 2 Kit order = $95.52
Total of $552.97 (not shipped no tax)
