I just bought a set of ICW wheels that came off an S80 and the wheel post adapters don't fit. I'd rather not use a post adapter if I didn't have to. I would prefer a wheel bolt with a head that is a little smaller and will fit into the recess in the rim.

(1) What is the bolt thickness and coursness of the thread?
(2) What is the measurement of a smaller diameter head?

I have the specs at home. I'll log in later. I think they are 1.75 x 12

Volvos use "hub-centric" wheels. If the hub does not fit properly, you will never get a satisfactory fit.

Lug nuts will not solve the problem if the hub is not tight.

I'll look tomorrow for the bolt size if noone posts it as well. I do know it's a STRANGE size and not very common.

bolts are 12x1.75 with a 19mm conical head.

you need hubcentric rings to fit the wheels, unless the center is smaller that the hub, in which case you'll need to bore them out to match.

I have hub rings that fit and I bought wheel bolts that "should fit". The thread pitch looks too tight (not course enough). We will see.
