I crushed my remote and was going to buy another off ebay. Can I reprogam a remote or do I have to go to the dealer? I have a 98 S70.

dawes mbc @ 12-15psi depending on climate (Darn cutout)
dirty k+n cone + kevin's old ghettorigged heatshield (need to move onto slater's "ghetto" style setup)
bfg trac t/a 205/50/16s (pretty decent for a standard tire but they're no toyo)

For 98 vehicles you need a VST scan tool to program the remote. You or the dealer needs to look up your VGLA remote key PIN, after that it only takes 2 minutes to program the remote to your car.
