I wasn't for sure where to post this, so if it needs moving please do. My old 98 S70 has 250K miles on it and it is time for somethink with at least 100K lease on miles. It is also is my wifes car and I really would like to find her one with less miles on it, a nicer color than gray, and something very dependable, and of course a Volvo. What is one of the most dependable, good looking, and easy to work on Volvos out there? Please give me your suggestions.

98 was a good year for the 70 series. The 99+ cars had problems with the electronics and are not as easy to work on. Replacement of some parts on the car requires a software download into the car, which means you have to go to the dealer. I would look for basically the same car you have, just with lower miles and in a color you like.
