Ok look i previously had codes of PO172, PO445, AND PO115. It was said that i probably would find the vacum elbow passenger side of intake bad. Well that was bad so i replaced along with banging up my hand while doing it.lol mad.gif . Afer driving today the check engine light has gone off. Does the check engine light restet itself?

thanks mark

Most of the time no, disconnect the battery to clear anything left and reset the adaptives. Oh ya and have the radio code handy. biggrin.gif

Your engine is running lean so the ecu adds more fuel to compasate . When you repair the line its still at that rich command you can drive it until it adjusts or reset the adaptives back to a base setting.

What if you don't have your radio code? Is there a way to get it without paying some Volvo dealer or repair shop?
