Wow...when I was taking off my hoses to replace with samcos...everything looked fine

, but then again I haven't got my chip yet or turboback exhaust put on.

Yeah, came as a big shock to me as I thought I'd some how done another AMM.
Haven't got a chip yet either as I want everything to be perfect before hand. I'm probably going to buy the stylinmotors silicone vacuum hoses, see if I can get some perfect stock performance (+ 3" turbo back exhaust and k&n panel) out of the car first.
Can't wait to get on the dyno again and see if I actually had a small vac leak at my last run. And I'll also be able to find out what k&n and exhaust does for power

that hose can be a PITA
factory one on my 10 yr old car was so brittle it snapped on me. got a replacement from volvo that only lasted 6 months. the outer section of the tight bend was so thin that it caved in and eventually looked like yours. on my third hose and it's built like it should have been in the first place.
when you get your new one from volvo, make sure the rubber on the outside (where the hole in yours is) is as thick as the rest.
Thanks for the advice, I picked it up today (and the lower hose too) - but intend to clean the idle air motor and the TB in the next few days and will check it out. The more hoses I look at right now, the sooner I want to replace everything lol
The car will be running so Darn well!
