ABS/TRACS censor going crazy.....the code from the on-board computer of my 855 t5r says that all four ABS censors are going off at the same time and it was confirmed by the mechanic who just did some work on my car. the probabbility of all four censors going off that way is almost impossible per my conversation with him
do you guys have any idea of what could cause that?

Sounds like the ABS module to me. When it goes, all kinds of crazy things happen.

When all 4 ABS sensors are "gone" at the same time, it usually means the ABS module itself is gone. When I had my ABS repaired, the diagnostic report showed 13 ABS codes were set including all 4 sensors.

Send it to Victor. http://home.earthlink.net/~vicrocha/

Can it be fixed in other ways?

I don't this is a DIY repair thing, or something a VSer was able to fix at home. A special press is needed to open up the plastic ABS housing as it is glued or sealed. Then you need to know which chips on the circuit board need to be replaced. It's worth the money to have it repaired if you plan on keeping your car for some time.

Pras,

Do you mean that all 4 sensors went at the same time?

Geoffrey's car is a 95! I was under the impression that 95's did not have this common module problem? In addition, previous owner did replace the module as far as I know and the problem did not go away?
