What is the average lifespan of a fuel pump relay? I have a '94 850 sedan with 85K on it. My concern arises from the fact that on the FPR on my '86 240 has gone through quite a few over its life and I was wondering if this was really a non issue compared to my 240.

Thanks.

The FPR's are problematic on the 850's as well, but as far as their lifespan, there's no real documented mileage. From what I've seen though, it's always past 120k miles. I replaced mine not long after I got my car just as a preventative measure and b/c I got them for dirt cheap on ebay.
