For the pipe from my oil trap, the new one from fcp (yes I received the part # that their web page says will fit my car) is slightly different from my old one. In this pic, old is top, new is bottom:

so that when it is mounted, the flame trap won't fit properly onto the throttle body outlet. Here is a picture with the pipes in same orientatioN:

The flame trap doesn't rotate, the flame trap mount doesn't rotate, what is going on here?

Do I need to replace that elbow too, some new design?

I doubt they sent me the wrong oil trap pipe, but ... ???
