ok i noticed my plastic thing from air box was lose

i pulled out airbox

is this an air valve or what?? inside the airbox? its pretty hard to open it and close

i started the car is this thing should open when i accelerate? because it doesnt sad.gif

if it should open how can i fix that problem?

also noticed that this stuff is lose am i missing some bolts or some plastic thing?

guess what smile.gif looked under the car and one bolt that holds radiator to a frame is missing


how could have that happened dry.gif

there is a detachable clip for the air box missing

the tube that sucks the air into the air intake is loose on everyones car...the battery shouldnt be loose though, check the batttery tray (thing under the battery that holds the battery down) ... other than that go to ur local volvo dealer and get some screwssss

there are rubber grommets that hold the tube in place a bit better but its never "firm"

the flapper is an air box thermostat, when its cold warm air is introduced into the air box from the exhaust mani

The tube that runs from your airbox to the grille, is supposed to be loose. The only thing it is held together by is the fact that you have to flex it to get one piece in the other... Don't worry about that one.

And a good rule of thumb, if there is a bolt whole, with no bolt within, replace bolt.

Don't sweat the airbox stuff, your intake tube from the front of the car to your airbox will hold itself in fine.

Do ensure that the battery won't bounce in to anything, and definitely check out that radiator bolt.

i got a bolt and everythind seems fine even thta thing became more stable

have no idea where the bolt went i could've losing radiator like that huh.gif
