Instead of enjoying the sun and good weather, I stayed inside and labored away at this:

Its a unit that switches between my Alpine CD Changer and my blitzsafe AUX in.

Unfortuantly to construct this switch box, I had to hack up my blitzsafe AUX in, for its 8 pin connector. So after some manipulation and cramming the end result is pictured above. I will test it out on Monday and all I need to do is take a blank slot cover and stick a switch on it to switch between the inputs.

This one took me 4 hours...

it wasn't fun taking apart my Blitzsafe AUX in, but it was simple once all apart.

I'll consider selling a few switchboxes... that of course no Blitzsafe inside, but a audio tap into the CD Changer line. Therefore you're only switching audio, not the data signals, because the only data is from the CD Changer.

I speculate that I could build a few boxes at approx $50 each. Just would like to see if there is a demand first.

The box I build today will not be for sale...by the way. Its too complex and too risky to build another one like my current one. I will continue to find new solutions to our stock problems!

That's the first thing you need to find a solution to though, dumping the stock tongue.gif
